There are times when attendance-taking staff only need to mark whether a child is present. In these cases, displaying only the Present button on the attendance roster helps reduce confusion and streamlines the process. Hiding the Sign-in button is especially useful when your session does not require collecting signatures or recording exact sign-in times.
To hide the sign-in button for a specific session, follow these steps:
- From any dashboard, navigate to Session Rosters under Rosters & Attendance.
- Find the session where you want to hide the sign-in button. At the top right of that session, click the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) and select Edit.
- Scroll down to the Additional Options section.
- Click on Configure Sign-in Button Visibility.
- Select Yes to hide the sign-in button. (Note: This setting overrides district-level attendance settings.)
- Click Save to apply your changes.
To make the sign-in button visible again, simply repeat these steps and select No to show the button.
