6crickets offers a fast, consistent way to export evaluation-ready data for CALPADS reporting requirements. Because the report includes only labeled sessions, accurate session labeling is essential before you generate the report.
Before You Begin
Ensure that attendance, enrollment, and session data are complete and accurate as missing data can lead to empty and inaccurate reports.
For help checking attendance, see How to check attendance from the district, school, and provider dashboards
Step 1. Label Sessions for Reporting
Only sessions assigned a label will be included in the report.
For help creating labels, see How to create and edit session labels from dashboards.
- Navigate to your dashboard.
- Assign one or more descriptive labels to each session to reflect how you want to group them in this and other reports (e.g., Fall Intersession, ASES, SY 24/25)
Step 2. Generate the Report
- Go to Reporting > ASES, CALPADS reports
- Select the “CALPADS reports” tab
- Select the Expanded learning programs report dropdown
- Choose the reporting period and labeled sessions to include in the report
- Click "Generate report"
- The system will provide a CSV download containing your selected sessions’ data
Now you have a report to import to the CALPADS website.
Key Notes & Troubleshooting
Empty reports often indicate that:
- Labels not applied to sessions
- Labels applied to sessions outside of the reporting period
- Labels applied to sessions that don't meet CALPADS's requirements
- Session or student data is missing
Solution: Relabel sessions or update student data if needed, then generate it again.
Missing State Student IDs:
- This is not imported into 6crickets
Solution: Ask your IT department to update the SIS sync to import State Student ID into 6crickets
