A seat being purchased qualifies for the additional-seat discount if the buyer has ever purchased another seat in the same session or in the same bundle of sessions. You can create a bundle by grouping several sessions together. When a parent purchases multiple seats across different sessions that belong to the same bundle, the first seat is sold at the full price and the remaining seats are sold with the specified discounted price for additional seats. This discount is also applied regardless of how much time has passed since the first purchase.
The discounted price of a session for additional-seats can be set explicitly on the session or on the program it’s associated with or at the provider level for all the programs and sessions belong to the provider. The additional seat discount set up at the session level will override the setting from the program level, the setting from the program level will override the setting at the provider profile.
Configure Sibling or Additional Seats discount for a Session:
- From the Provider Dashboard, on the menu to the left, under “Camps & Classes” click on “Sessions List”.
- Click the menu icon to the far right of a session and then click “Edit” from the menu.
- Go down to the “Additional options” section and click the link labeled “+ see discounts for additional seats”.
- Remove the check from the box next to “Same as the program's additional-seat price”. This is also where you can set a bundle name for a session.
- Enter the discounted price for additional seats, and click the “Save” button.
Configure Sibling or Additional Seats discount for a Program.
- From the Provider Dashboard, on the menu to the left, under “Camps & Classes” click on “Programs”.
- Click on “Edit Program & Its Sessions” for the program you want to set the discount on.
- Scroll down and click the link labeled “Set up discounts for additional seats”, which is just below the “Price” field.
- Enter the discounted price for additional seats, and click the “Save” button.
Configure the default Siblings or Additional Seats discount at the provider level:
- Sign in to the Provider Dashboard.
- From the menu on the left under “Registration Setup” click on “Discounts”.
- At the top of the “Discounts” page click on “Siblings or Additional Seats”.
- Click the link labeled, “Add discount for additional seats in the same session or bundle”.
- Select either $ or % from the drop-down menu, and enter or update a discount value.
- Click the “Save” button.
