How to add pre-approved scholarship discount for parents of your school?

Pre-approved scholarships can be applied per the answer to a special custom question "Scholarship Question", which could be set up from the school dashboard.

The following are the steps:

• Set up discount codes you want to provide, for example, Free for 100% off, Reduced for 50% off, etc. You could set up as many discount codes as you want, more information on how to set up discount codes from the school dashboard can be found here. 
• Set up the "Scholarship Question" from the left menu (or dashboard) > Manage registration and attendance > Customize Registration Form.
• Click the pen icon beside the "Scholarship Question" 
• Update the default wording "Student ID" to anything you'd like parents to see when checking out, so they'd know what to input to be authorized for the scholarship or discount.
• Input the "key,discount Code" pairs into the box below, one pair per row.
  • Each key must be unique for the school. The key can be anything parents know about, for example, the student ID. 
  • The discount code can be any discount code created in the first step.
  • A CSV file can be used to upload the pairs, please note that the file should NOT include headers, just two columns with values of keys and discount code).
  • Parents will be asked to input the key when checking out, then the discount code paired with the key will decide what discount will be applied to their purchase.
  • For example, if 1234,Free was input as a pair, 1234 is the student ID, Free is a 100% off discount code, when parents input 1234 to answer this Scholarship Question, they'll get a 100% off discount for their purchase.
• Set the question to "Active", and set it to "Required" if needed. 
• Save.
