How to add or edit a student profile

Things change! That’s why we make it easy to edit your student’s profile.

Whether you need to add a pickup contact, emergency contact, or complete some questions from the provider, you make these changes via your profile at 6crickets.

Add a student

1. Login and click on the letter in the top right corner of the website.

2. From the drop-down menu click “Edit students”.

3. To add a new student profile, click the "Add New student" button and update a new "Unnamed" student at the bottom of  the student list.

Edit student information

1. Follow steps 1-2 from above.

2. To edit a student profile, click the name of the student you want to edit.

3. Using the different category tabs to the left, you can navigate through the different sections of your child’s profile to add information or make changes.

A few things to consider:

• Only the fields with an asterisk (*) are required fields, the rest are optional.
• Be sure to click the pink “Save and Continue” button at the bottom of each section to save your changes before moving onto another section.
• If a category tab is correctly filled and saved, there will be a green checkmark below the tab name."FILL" means you either need to fill in some required information, or the updates on that tab haven't been saved yet. The student will be labeled with "Fill" if at least one tab hasn't been filled or saved correctly. 

Common Questions or Issues

You may see that your child accidentally shows your first name. This is most likely an issue with the autofill feature of your browser. We recommend manually typing the name to avoid this issue.

Registration confirmation emails and class reminder email notifications are sent to all Parents and Guardians associated with your child's profile. If you do not want a parent or guardian to receive these notifications, you can instead add them to the "Emergency Contacts" and/or "Pickup Contacts" sections of your student's profile.

If you login and see that many of the sections for your student’s profile say “Read Only” in blue, you will not be able to make changes in 6crickets. You will need to make the changes in the Student Information System for your school district (such as, PowerSchool or Aeries) and the changes will populate in 6crickets afterwards.
