So your customer claims they didn't receive a refund. 6crickets sends out a refund confirmation email when you issue a refund but you might want to provide additional proof. Here's how to find proof of refund on your Stripe dashboard that you can send to your customer to show you issued the refund. We recommend the customer double-checks the bank statement of the credit card they used for the purchase and contact their bank if they do not see the refund on their credit card statement. Refunds can take up to 10 days to appear on the credit card statement.
- Log into your Stripe account.
- Click on ‘Payments’ and enter the customer name in the search field to pull a statement of all payments made by this customer. Locate the transaction. If the charge got refunded, the statement will show “refunded” beside the $ amount.
- Click on the payment to expand the transaction details.
- Under ‘receipt history’, use ‘view receipt’ to retrieve the receipt or ‘send receipt’ to email the receipt.
