6crickets provides a helpful attendance recording feature that allows you to keep track of student attendance on a daily basis and saves the records for each session roster.
This is how you can access the attendance feature from the Provider Dashboard (https://www.6crickets.com/provider).
1. Find your roster
From the dashboard or menu on the left, under "Roster & attendance", click on "Session rosters".
2. Find the session
Locate the session you need to take attendance for and click on the "Enrolled: #" link on the right side.
Note: you can use the filters at the top of the page if you have a lot of sessions to search through.
3. Confirm the attendance date
Click the "Show/take attendance" button. The date will be set to today's date if there's a class today. Change the date in “Attendance on” to take attendance for a different day.
4. Take attendance
Click "Present" or "Absent" next to the student’s name to take attendance.
You may be required to sign a student in or out, instead of just marking them “present,” like when a student shows up late, leaves early, or you want to record a signature.
To sign a student in/out, click the "Sign in" or "Sign out" button next to the student's name, identify who is signing the student in, have them sign in the space provided, and click the button at the bottom right corner to save the signature (example below). Sign in/out will also mark the student as present if not already.
If a parent informs the staff of a new guest pickup contact, who will just pick up their kid once, or there is not time to include that pickup contact from the parent's account before a session ends, the verified pickup contact can be included via the Other option, as shown below.
If several site leads are signing out students from the same roster and need to refresh to see the more up-to-date record, please use the “Refresh Attendance” button at the top right, which will refresh just the roster, without taking you out of the attendance taking screen.
Please visit this help article for instructions on how to use the feature to label unmarked students as "Present” or “Absent".
