This article will show you the basics of setting up your Provider Profile and getting your classes or camps listed.
You will need to sign up a 6crickets user account with your email address if not already.
Log in from 6crickets homepage > Green “Providers” button > "My Dashboard" button to go to the Provider Dashboard.
If this is your first time here, you will be automatically presented with the Setup Wizard.
- Note that you can resume later to finish the profile setup after filling in some basic information. When logged in later, you will be able to fill in the missing information from your provider dashboard, hovering your mouse over the left menu to show the menu list, or by clicking the pink “Get Started” button at the top of your dashboard.
Following are the steps of the setup wizard, all these settings can be reached from your Dashboard and the left menu.
- Step 1 of the setup wizard: Business Profile (can be reached under the Basic setup section of your dashboard or left menu). Basic information about your business. Note that the fields with a red star are required.
- Step 2: Camps & Classes. This is where you begin setting up your camps or classes!
- Before we start, let’s first explain the two concepts being used: "Programs" and "Sessions".
- Programs outline the What and For Whom of a camp or class. From the parent's perspective, the Program describes what their child will learn and experience. It also defines who can attend by grade or age. A Program is like the parent of a Session.
- Sessions describe the When and Where of a camp or class. This means that one Program can have multiple Sessions under it, and each Session can be on different dates or at different locations.
- Now, you can click on the “Get started by adding a new program” button or the "Add a new program" button if there are already some programs.
- Step 2.1: enter the program's details: The Program Name and Program Description are required, as these fields explain to parents what their children will learn and experience. If a field does not apply to your camp or class, you may leave it blank.
- Step 2.2: add a session: Now you set the When and Where by creating a new Session for your new Program. This is also where you can set other details for this specific session.
- Step 2.3: overview sessions & add More: After you have saved your new session you are brought to the overview page. This is where you can see all of the sessions for your new Program, and create additional Sessions.
- Step 2.4: add photo and video (optional): This is where you can upload an image for your camp or class. This is an optional step but highly recommended as it can help grab the attention of parents over other programs in their search results.
- Once you have uploaded and saved a photo for your program you will have the option to set up additional Programs if you like, otherwise, you can click “Continue” on the Programs page.
- Before we start, let’s first explain the two concepts being used: "Programs" and "Sessions".
- Step 3: Cancellation Policy. Here we explain the details of cancellation procedures and allow you to set your Cancellation Policy for parents.
- Step 4: Account Settings. This step allows you to set various general settings such as Contact, Notification, and Extended Care settings, etc.
- Step 5: Getting Paid. 6crickets integrates with Stripe for secure and instant automatic payments. Click on the blue “Get Paid through Stripe” button to begin connecting your Stripe account. Note: if you already have a Stripe account, you will be able to connect it at this step. If you don't have a Stripe account, you will be able to create one from here and connect it with your 6crickets profile.
- Step 6: Congrats! Now that all of your programs and sessions are set up, along with your Stripe account, you can begin accepting registrations through 6crickets! This page gives you the information you need to post a “Register” button or link on your website.
