When adding students to a class from the waitlist, is it necessary for me to increase the capacity?

There is no need to increase the number of seats if you want to invite students from the waitlist.

When inviting students from the waitlist, they can register directly by clicking the private registration link included in the invitation email. Waitlist invitations ignore any session limitations and can register regardless of registration end date and # of available seats.

Please note that students enrolling from an invitation count towards the # of enrolled students and will decrease the number of available spots. This means that if you have 0 available spots and 1 waitlisted student enrolls, your available spots will be counted as -1. That is the system working as intended and will not interfere with enrollment of the students from the waitlist
