Enrichment Coordinators can create discount codes that act like coupons, which parents can use during checkout. These discounts can also be used to gift scholarships to parents. Discount codes associated with your school's profile can be used on all classes held at your school.
Follow these steps to set up a discount from the School Dashboard:(https://www.6crickets.com/school-admin)
- From the menu on the left or the dashboard, under "Student Registration Setup", click "Add Discount Codes".
- Click the pink button that says "+ Add a Discount Code", and you will be shown the "Add a New Discount Code" window. (example below)
- Fill out the form for your new discount code, and click the pink "Save" button when finished.
- Code: This is the name of the code that you will need to share with the parent, and what they will need to enter when going through checkout on 6crickets.
- Amount: This is the amount to be discounted.
- Unit: You can set the amount to be discounted as a dollar amount or a percentage.
Note: Discounts in dollars are per class. So, if multiple classes are purchased in one transaction, the price of all classes is reduced by the discount amount. When the discount is set as a percentage, then it is reduced on the final price of all classes together. - Expires On: Set the date up to which the discount code is valid. You can always edit this later on to reuse older discount codes.
- Valid for the following sessions: Allows you to choose which sessions you want the discount code to be valid for.
- How many purchases can be done using this code?: Each purchase is one session for one student. For example, if you set this number to “10”, then this code can only be applied to a maximum of 10 sessions' purchases among all users. It can be left blank for unlimited uses.
- How many purchases one user can make using this code?: This defines how many purchases one parent user can use the discount code. Each purchase is one session for one student. For example, if a parent registers one of their kids for two different classes, that is considered two purchases. It can be left blank for unlimited uses.
