Enrichment Coordinators can create discount codes that act like coupons, which parents can use during checkout. These discounts can also be used to gift scholarships to parents. Discount codes associated to your school's profile can be used on all classes held at your school.
Follow these steps to set up a discount from the School Dashboard:(https://www.6crickets.com/school-admin)
- From the menu on the left click under "Student Registration Set Up", click "Add Discount Codes".
- Click the pink button that says "+ Add a Discount Code", and you will be shown the "Add a New Discount Code" window. (example below)
- Fill out the form for your new discount code, and click the pink "Save" button when finished.
Code: This is the name of the code that you will need to provide to the parent, and what they will need to enter when going through checkout on 6crickets.
Amount: This is the amount to be discounted.
Unit: You can set the amount to be discounted as a dollar amount or a percentage.
Note: Discounts in dollars are per class. So, if multiple classes are purchased in one transaction then the price of all classes are reduced by the discount amount. When the discount is set as a percentage, then it is reduced on the final price of all classes together.
Expires On: Set the date up to which the discount code is valid. You can always edit this later on to reuse older discount codes.
Valid for the following sessions: Allows you to choose which classes you want the discount code to be valid for.
How many purchases one user can make using this code?: This defines how many times a parent can use the discount code for a single purchase. A purchase is defined as a single session, and can include multiple students. For example, if a parent registers their kids for two different classes, that is considered two purchases. If they use a discount code with this value set to 1, then it will apply to each student registered to one class in their cart, regardless of how many students are being registered for that one class at that time.
