Share Announcements on District and School Registration Portals

The Announcements Feature allows districts to share important messages directly on their registration portals. This ensures that families can receive timely updates about seasonal programs, deadlines, and other key information.

- Customization: You can tailor announcements with rich text, images, and links.
- Scheduling: Set expiration dates to ensure announcements remain relevant.
How to Create and Share an Announcement
1. Access the Registration Portal Announcement
- Log in to your 6crickets district dashboard account.
- Navigate to the Registration portal announcement page in the Links for families section.
2. Create a New Announcement
- Copy and paste from a document or write your announcement in the text editor.
- Add links and format the text for emphasis.
3. Choose Where it’s Displayed
- Select “Yes” to show on District and School Portals.
- Select “No” to show only on the District Portal.
Note: On the school portal, a notification will appear, prompting users to click and view a pop-up message.
4. Set an Expiration Date
- Define the Hide After date and time to automatically remove outdated announcements.
5. Save and Check the Announcement
- Click Save to draft the announcement.
- Navigate to the registration portals to check the announcement.

Example Use Cases

Viewing and Managing Announcements
- To edit an existing announcement, navigate to Registration Portal Announcement and edit the announcement.
- To remove an announcement manually before its expiration date, click Hide Now.
- You cannot have multiple announcements.
- Announcements are only set up at the District dashboard.
- You cannot have different announcements for different schools.
