A district that syncs their SIS with 6crickets is able to archive students that no longer attend the district. Students who are not imported after the specified student archive date & time are archived.
Archived students can no longer be accessed by families who are no longer included in the SIS sync import. However, all student information and enrolled sessions will still be retained in 6crickets.
The steps to archive students are as follows:
- Go to the district dashboard
- Go to “Manage registration and attendance” > “Create/update student profiles & parent accounts”
- Click the “Settings” tab
- Enter the date and time, save.
To check if a student is archived and when a student was last imported:
- On the district dashboard under “Rosters & analytics” > “Browse students & parents”
- Search for a student
- Look for the label, “Archived:” with either “yes” or no.”
- Above the new label, the date a student’s data was last imported from the SIS will also be shown.
Note:
- When the archive date and time are first set, student status will default to "Yes". This will update after the next import occurs.
- If the student archive date & time is not set, no students are archived.
